Employee rang me up for $85 shoes I did not have nor did I ask for.. when I confronted her about it very nicely over the phone she told me that it was impossible if something is on my receipt it's because I bought it.

She argued with me about it I clearly told her this all can be solved by looking at the cameras and seeing that I did not conceal any shoes during checkout. No shoes were put in my bag. She then got very hostile and nasty and told me that she's not running the cameras because she's not a thief and asking why would she want my money. So she pretty much told on herself but now she's refusing to look at the cameras and she's refusing to help me.

She won't tell me her name and when I asked to speak to the manager she told me that she was the manager I believe that she is lying about her being the manager. She's the only one that I can talk to and seems to be the only one at the store. When I asked for the district manager's name she would not give me that either.

I have four children and I was rushing to leave the store it was late I should have checked my receipt but I was trusting the employee. Please help me get my money back.

All they have to do is pull the cameras and see that I did not purchase the shoes

I have the receipt I will be keeping it.

(She put in the wrong phone number as well my name on the receipt shows Erica Thaxton whoever that is and she deleted the phone number on there as well. The employees name on the receipt says "SLW"

The cashier is an African American woman with glasses..

I had called ahead of time and talked to a manager I guess. I asked to speak with one but they refused to tell me her name.

She was short and Asian. Anyway .. I walked in store after calling to see if they were buying. Well I was immediately turned away at the desk by the same manager I think I talked to.

I had three pairs of elite Jordans 23 brand and a pair of sister Nikes that were almost brand new my daughter didn't like. It was over $500 worth of shoes that I was asking maybe 50 or $60 for. They didn't even look at him they were clean individually bagged and clear Ziploc baggies with drying salts and fabric softener sheets to make sure they smell good I had even clean them with leather cleaner and disinfectant brand new shoelaces and head the ice repolished. I have put these shoes online on Poshmark and for the elite Jordans got $150 a pier and for the sister Nikes $60.

So though them turning away was a blessing to me it also gave me a lesson in why I will never use Plato's closet again. All of my friends say it's a great place but after this monstrosity this disrespect their customer service sucks and I will never go back. Any chance I get I'm going to let everybody know how bad the store is. I live in Battle Creek Michigan the store is on Beckley and please do not use them they are the worst people I've ever met.

There were no customers in the store at the time I walked in there was plenty of time during the day and I had called ahead of time to see if it was okay just to get turned away as I walked in the door.

I went yesterday to take some of my Familys yrly spring Cleaning in to Sell. We have 5 Grandkids ages 13 to 23.

So you can imGine the amount of clothes i had in my car all sizes from juniors 2 to 14. LADIES. I LEFT 4 crates filled with tops, shorts, jeans, tanks, dresses, shoes. All in very good shape i washed every item.

Folded it with care also keeping items in order such as tops together, dresses together, jeans all together, and u get the idea. Brands were American Eagle, abercrombie, pink, victoria secret, refugee, levis, all being worn by our kids, so imagine my surprise after meeting with Ethan at the Humble Tx store being told that not one item had beenaccepted except a hat for 3.00. I was shocked i walked thru the isles and lookedat the clothing the store had in its inventory. I saw jeans with holes in crotches being sold also stains on most of the shirts.

Very little items in tops of color. All Black almost. The oother people i did see meeting w the rep ethan all had most of their items purchased. Now i am happy to provide you with puctures of a few of my crates items but i cannot believe the crap they chose over my grandkids clothes.

Many hundreds of dollars were spent and these are not cheap outdated clothes. What the heck is happening with your intake.

Do you prefer the person dropping the clothing off to be young people because im not understanding what happened today. Could someone ease explain how this could happen?
